We finally can find out if this baby is going to be a girl or boy, tomorrow at 9am at our midwife's office!!! I can't wait. I am 20 weeks and 2 days.

So, I thought I was further along than I am due to my LMP being early June. Well, I ended up being 6 weeks 3 days pregnant at our first midwife appointment, which included an ultrasound of course.

Well, I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant with baby #4! So, my youngest and newest will be about 22 months apart or so. I am about 4 weeks pregnant according to my blood test results, so I still have a few weeks til I can get an appointment with midwife.

If you're wondering if you HAVE to stop nursing just because your baby turned 1 the short answer is no you don't.
Let your child self wean or you can gently wean him or her from nursing.
Our youngest is almost 14 months and I am gently weaning him by removing one nursing session a month and replacing it with a cup of 2% milk. He's down to 2 - 3 sessions per day, so he should be completely weaned by the end of September.

I have been aware of the impact of hearing loss for a long time. I have two connections through family members. My father in law has hearing loss issues and has hearing aids because of it. He has trouble hearing our kids at times which makes it hard sometimes for them when they have to repeat themselves. The hearing aids help him a good bit, because he wouldn't be able to hear at all without them.

Our older two children are about to finish first and second grade, and our youngest is 11 1/2 months old! I cannot wait for summer break and I know they are excited too. They enjoy the local park program during the week, with friends from school.

Our son is 11 months old and of course is still breastfeeding and will until June or so, when I will start giving him a sippy with the freezer "stash" of my milk and when that 128 oz is gone, then he will get whole milk. By then, he will be 14 months or so when he weans if all goes well.
