There's Never a Dull Moment in Being a Mom of 3

Our older two children are about to finish first and second grade, and our youngest is 11 1/2 months old! I cannot wait for summer break and I know they are excited too. They enjoy the local park program during the week, with friends from school.

The popular question I'm asked is:

Do you get bored as a stay at home mom?

I have been asked a lot by a few people if I am always bored being a stay at home mom. The answer is most definitely NOT. Why would I be bored taking care of our kids all day? That's a mother's job - to take care of her kids, whether or not you work outside the home or not, and whether you have kids in school, they're home-schooled, or none are school-age yet.

For me, I've been a stay at home mom for all but about a year 1/2 of being a mom, when I worked part time at a retail job and at a daycare center. I enjoyed working a little bit, but I prefer to be a stay at home mom any day. I work inside the home by blogging and making money and doing reviews as I see fit. We have 3 kids - 2 are in school and 1 is at home full time because he's not school age yet.

I find plenty for us to do while our son and daughter are in school. He enjoys swinging at the park by us, so when the weather is nice I take him there to get us out of the house for a bit. Being a stay at home mom is a lot of fun, and I have no idea how some moms can be bored, unless of course all of their kids are in school and they're not home all day.

Find things to do with your kids at home, at the park, have a picnic, do some crafts with them if age appropriate, play with blocks and toys, watch some movies, cuddle and have a snack; the opportunities are endless!
