Holiday Gift Guide: Rock Board - Skateboards

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Rock Board in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Do you have a son and/or daughter that loves to play on a skateboard? Well, these are some pretty awesome boards to get!

I am starting my Holiday Gift Guide on the blog, and the first review of my guide is from Rock Board and is some pretty awesome skateboards! They are both Rockboard Radiate skateboards, and I got one for our son in orange and the other one in purple for our daughter. Of course since these are for Christmas presents, they won't see them until then. I know that they will have a lot of fun with them. You can buy these HERE for only $49.99. These will make for a great Christmas present for both a boy and girl! They have a nice variety of colors to choose from as well. Feel free to follow them on Facebook and Twitter!

Our daughter likes to just sit on the one her brother has that is smaller than these by far that he got a year or two ago, but he's starting to want to learn to skateboard, so I thought that they'd enjoy these to learn on. They're really bright as you can see, and are very well made. The wheels on these are great, and look like they will last quite awhile for them. These skateboards are very bright in color, and has a revolutionary LED wiring harness system to every board. The boards in this post are for ages 8 and up. Our daughter is going to be 7, but she will like it just fine I'm sure. Most boys around 7 or 8 love to have fun on a skateboard.

Want a cute personalized book for your child to read with his or her pictures inside it?

The pictured book above is not my child's photo, as I am trying to maintain privacy on my blog when it comes to our children. We received this book for our son to review, and he is 7 and loves it. Of course, he can read the book and sound it out on his own but still loves to read it. This is a hard back cover book and you provide all of your child's information / pictures to go into this book, before you checkout to buy it.

The price of this cute book for your child or a child you know is only $29.99, and has nice details in it as far as pictures and personalizing it for him or her to have as their own. The name of this book is called My Farm Friends on their website. I love to get personalized books for my kids for review. It's a lot of fun to make for them and to review for the company as well. Christmas Guide: Activision - Skylanders Action Figurines

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Activision in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Moms of boys! I know my son LOVES Skylander toys and will love these action figurines too.

My son will be 7 on Sunday and he loves Skylanders characters, so I know he will enjoy playing with these. He has such a fun time playing with figures and figurines. He has been asking for Skylanders toys, so I am excited to be able to give it to him! Activision has a nice variety of Skylanders toys, games, and other games as well for video game systems. While we don't own a PS 4 so are unable to have the video games, we do enjoy action figurines for our kids, so that is definitely what these are for. These are fun and also nice sized toy figurines for kids ages 6 and up to play with. I never knew much about Skylanders to be honest until my son came home from school in September asking about being one of the characters for Halloween, so then I looked it up and found out all about them! They seem pretty awesome really.

Do your kids like to play Skylanders, dress up, or just play with the figurines?

The ones that I received for this review are below:

- Gusto

- Jawbreaker

- Wildfire

Zoey's Personalized Gift: Back To School Shirts

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Zoey's Personalized Gifts in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

I absolutely love to work with Zoey's Personalized Gifts throughout the year for my kids, and these are some awesome shirts that we received for review.

My laptop has been giving me fits over the past month in a half or so with uploading pictures directly from my computer, so I wasn't able to add the picture of my son's adorable shirt for first grade to this post, but the 1st Grade Rules t-shirt he received is a fun one for kids to get! He got it in a  size 10 and the price of it is only $20! It has a ruler on it with his name below it. He absolutely loves wearing it everywhere, especially school. This shirt is made of a very soft material and is easy to wash.

My daughter received the Kindergarten is a Hoot t-shirt for her to wear to school and it's in a size youth small which is for 6-8, and it fits her perfectly. The price of this adorable shirt is only $16.50 on their website. The material that this shirt is made of is very soft and easy to wash. This shirt has a pink owl holding a green apple on it. I love owls and knew my daughter would enjoy this one to add to her t shirt collection.

Back to School: Fab Kids Outfits and shoes!

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Fab Kids in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Does your child still need some last minute back to school outfits and / or shoes? Fab Kids has a lot to choose from for their Fall Look Book with 2 for $29.99 deal for the fall season!

My kids are 5 and 6 and even though we  got the majority of their school clothes shopping done, I knew I wanted to work with Fab Kids on a review of a couple of their outfits for my Back to School review for August on my blog. The one that my daughter chose to get is an adorable zebra dress with black leggings, with purple sparkly slip on shoes. She absolutely loves this outfit and wore it to church on Wednesday night! These shoes are clearly her new favorite ones to wear all the time, and they fit her perfectly. She has zebra sheets that pretty much match this dress perfectly. I highly recommend this outfit for your little girl who loves to be in style and loves sparkly shoes as well. The shoes, I asked for separately along with the outfit. They have quite a few shoes to choose from, so it was tough making a decision!

My son is 6 and he is big on trucks, cars, and motorcycles! He found this outfit and had to have it for a school outfit. They both fit him great, even though the jeans are a little big on him; he can simply just wear a belt to keep them from dragging at all. He has grown so much in the past year that he has to have bigger clothes sometimes, just to have some growing room in them, because he has times through the year that he just gets taller fast! He loves his new motorcycle outfit that we received from Fab Kids, and can't wait to wear it to school.

Last week at work, moving, changing schools

I gave them a 3 week notice, and am sad to leave the daycare, because I became very close with one particular baby in our room, but my husband, kids and I are moving back to where he is from to help with his parents as they are not doing well health wise. I will be staying in touch with the little boy's mom and hope to see him when we come to visit, whether it's by going to the daycare or meeting them somewhere. I am having dinner with some of my good co-workers tomorrow at 6:30pm at K & W to be able to have some socializing before I go.

I love being a mom!

Life as a mom is so rewarding! My son is 6 years old and is in kindergarten this year and has been doing much better with a lot of his learning and such. He is now learning to tell time and we will be buying him his very own clock for his wall soon. They are learning a lot more earlier on now than they did when I was in school.

Dorm Co - Jersey Knit Twin XL Comforter

*Disclaimer - I received the product in this post from Dorm Co in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

My review of this comforter I received for my son:
I was looking for a soft but little larger size than normal twin sized comforter for his twin bed, to keep him warmer at night. He is 6. He loves his new Jersey Knit Twin XL Comforter from the awesome company, Dorm Co. It fits comfortably on his bed and keeps him very warm at night. The comforter isn't too heavy or bulky in size, and it comes with a jersey bag to store it in if you choose to do so which makes it very convenient for college students who are on the go so often. The price of this comforter is only $54.84 on their website! Get in on this great deal.

This comforter is of course made of a super soft t shirt style jersey knit comforter which is 100% cotton. This is actually Dorm Co's very first jersey knit comforter. This one is made to fit, as it is made for twin XL dorm beds, so it's 90" long and is very soft. This one is sure to give you a nice long night's sleep with all of the comfort it provides in its warmth. The jersey knit bag it comes with makes a good laundry bag, so be sure to keep it for later! It'd definitely make a good graduation gift for those that you may know who are heading off to college in the fall, to make sure their bedding is taken care of ahead of time. The color that this one comes in is called Avacodo. It's a fluffy comforter which also makes it all the more home like feeling when you go to bed at night for a restful sleep. My son's bed is a simple twin bed, so it's still plenty big for the bed, but fits fine for what he needs.

Christmas Guide: One Grace Place Bedding

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from One Grace Place in order to facilitate this review for my readers. All opinions are 100% that of my own.

My review of the D letter pillow:
My son's name starts with a D, so I decided to get this item to review for him along with a couple other items as he was in need of better bedding for his room. He LOVES his D pillow and it's also a great way to decorate a room and make it more fun, with a letter pillow. The price of this pillow is $18.99.

My review of the Simplicity Blue comforter:
I chose the Simplicity Blue comforter for his room, to make the pillow. He loves this one and it definitely keeps him warm all night. It fits just perfect on his twin size bed. It's made of 100% cotton and 100% Polyester Fill. It's not the easiest to fold if needed, but we usually just keep it on his bed. When you need to wash this comforter, it's good to know that it's machine washable and you can tumble dry on low for it. The price of this comforter in a twin size is $90.45. The measurement size is 87.00" x 63.00".

My review of the medium Teyo's Tire quilt:
My son is big on tires and wheels, so when I saw this quilt I asked to get it along with the other items to review. It's great for a twin size bed and a child, as it's their size. It's pretty soft, and is made of 100% cotton pieces and 100% polyester pieces. The price of this quilt is $44.99. Its measurement size is 40"x 49".
