Are you looking for a great vaccum with a good and strong suction? This is the vaccum for you then.

I was thrilled when I got the email to let me know that Hoover has officially opened their blogging program! I was told that I could get one of these nice vaccums to review. I was very excited, because I have been looking for a good vaccum for our steps and carpet that will do the trick with cleaning. The vaccum below is called Air Lift Deluxe and is priced at $199.99. This is the best vaccum I have yet to come across, honestly. This vaccum is going to last a good while for us, and the part of the vaccum that fills up is easy to throw away.

There is a suction attachment that is made to suck up crevices and steps, and let me tell you the suction on this attachment is very, very strong. This vaccum cleaned our steps very well and is well worth every penny of the price, on their website. This vaccum is pretty heavy, but it's easy to pick up from carrying it by the gray lift part of the vaccum. I love the color of this vaccum.

Do you have a son and/or daughter that loves to play on a skateboard? Well, these are some pretty awesome boards to get!

I am starting my Holiday Gift Guide on the blog, and the first review of my guide is from Rock Board and is some pretty awesome skateboards! They are both Rockboard Radiate skateboards, and I got one for our son in orange and the other one in purple for our daughter. Of course since these are for Christmas presents, they won't see them until then. I know that they will have a lot of fun with them. You can buy these HERE for only $49.99. Our daughter likes to just sit on the one her brother has that is smaller than these by far that he got a year or two ago, but he's starting to want to learn to skateboard, so I thought that they'd enjoy these to learn on. They're really bright as you can see, and are very well made. The wheels on these are great, and look like they will last quite awhile for them. These skateboards are very bright in color, and has a revolutionary LED wiring harness system to every board. The boards in this post are for ages 8 and up. Our daughter is going to be 7, but she will like it just fine I'm sure. Most boys around 7 or 8 love to have fun on a skateboard.

Birthday Event: Martin's Food Market

Do you have a Martin's Food Market by you and are planning a birthday party? They have the foods you'll need for any party!

My family came to visit last weekend, so a friend and I went to our local Martin's Food Market about 30 miles away to use the gift cards that were sent to me to use for our daughter's birthday. Her birthday is not until mid October, but since my sister will not be able to come back for her birthday, I got the foods to celebrate it early so she was here to do so. The snacks in the photo below will be great at her birthday party in mid October, and I know it will be a big hit!

I had only been in Martin's once aside from this trip there, and I really like the way that the store is set up, and is nice and open and easy to find everything, and most of all - great prices.

The platter that I ordered was boneless chicken wings and ranch dressing, but it ended up being BBQ sauce and I didn't realize that til we got home, but it was really good BBQ sauce. I got the medium size platter, and the flavors of chicken wings I received were: Barbeque, Homestyle, and General Tso. The homestyle and general tso were my favorites. I love sweet and plain flavored wings. We just heated these up in the microwave. The price of this platter was $29.99 and serves 8 - 10 people. This platter can be found HERE!

I called Martin's to inquire about how to order a cake and chicken wing platter. They told me that I could do so over the phone and pick it up at the store, and then pay at the check out line with the gift cards. I ordered from their Great Entertaining section of their website, from the phone. The cake that I ordered was a half sheet, with half chocolate and half vanilla cake, and had whipped icing and her name on it. The price of this was $27.99 and can be found HERE! It was delicious, and a week later we're still eating the last of it!
