Thanksgiving Break, Snow, and plans for Christmas

My kids are on Thanksgiving break right now. They had Thursday, Friday, and have Monday off school. They go back December 2. My husband has had a nice break from work - didn't have to work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Thanksgiving this year was spent at my in laws' house

What did your families do for Thanksgiving this year?

We went to my in laws house and ate. Our nieces and one nephew were there, so our kids were really happy to have them to play with. It was pretty fun. When we first got there, we got to watch a bit of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade! I love watching the parade, and would love to go in person someday to see it in NYC.

My husband and son (almost 7) made about 7 pumpkin pies on Wednesday night, and were up off and on until 1am checking on them! We took all but 3 with us, so we can enjoy some pies here at home, with cool whip of course! We had bought a big can of pumpkin mix, so we had to use it up by making multiple pies, but we still have pie mix leftover to make more with.

Tiny Creations by Shan: My First Thanksgiving Onesie & My Mom Doesn't Want Your Advice Onesie

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Tiny Creations by Shan in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Do you have a baby that you'd like to get some cute onesies for from Etsy? Check out their Facebook page and say hello.

As you know, I am 12 weeks pregnant and am due June 2. I thought it'd be a great idea to get ahead a little bit and get some adorable onesies for him or her to have to wear that is gender neutral as I have no idea if it's a boy or girl until mid January, for next year. The two onesies that I received from this very nice Etsy shop are the My First Thanksgiving in a size 6 - 12 months, and the My mom doesn't want your advice in a size 0 - 3 months. Both are of course short sleeved onesies, and my kids absolutely loved helping me get these out of the package the day I got them to see what their baby brother or sister will get to wear next year!

The onesie for baby's first Thanksgiving is priced at only $11, which is a great deal for such a cute print out. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year, but more so next year of course!

The onesie for mom not wanting your advice is priced at only $10, which is another great deal and this one can come in good handy if you have mom friends or family members who like to shove unwanted advice in your face. I know I have had a few of them occur to me!
