Being a stay at home mom again

It has been a long but good week. I haven't not worked since August 20, 2013 and been not working since April 17, 2014 now. It has been a fun but long week. It's very weird not having to go to work. I miss my co-workers and my little buddy who I watched everyday in the infant room.

If we have another child, I will definitely be a stay at home mom. If not by August then I will be finding a part time job to have something to do while kids are in school. I hope to either babysit in home once we get an apartment or something 20 hours a week.

  3. I love being a stay at home mom, I work harder than I ever have at any job but I would not give it up for anything. If you can and want to do it I highly recommend it.

  4. I honestly wish I could be a stay at home mom. I miss that time with my kids and I know I'm missing out. If you can do it I would say go for it.

  6. If we pay off the car loan with tax refund, then a job will just be for something to do and extra cash for us all to have.If not, then it'll be to pay it off.

It's been nice being at home with no "schedule" even though I enjoyed the time with babies and co-workers and my daughter loved her class. I feel bad we had to quit, but at least if we move back I will likely have a job if I want it. I went to get my paycheck today and got to see a few people and my buddy so the week ended good.

My top option is definitely to stay at home, but my son will be in 1st grade in August and my daughter in kindergarten, so I will be home with no one else there which isn't much fun lol. So I want to either babysit 1 - 2 kids in home once we find a place or get day hours only during their school day so like 8 - 1 even though the school is 8 - 3 or so.He's on spring break right now but will start new school asap so he isn't missing anytime before school is back in session.

I let him know though that if I get pregnant, I will be staying at home and not working. He's fine with that. I want to get more sponsored posts on my blog to make a little income since I will have the time again soon.

  9. Congratulations on joining the SAH ranks. It's a job like no other on the planet.

I love being a stay at mom and thank God every day that we are in a situation that allows for it. Although I was under the impression that a stay at home actually stayed at home. Come to find out, that's not the case. Between volunteering at the school, running errands for the house, running errands for my work at home husband and grocery shopping I feel like I am never home. LOL

  10. I just started working FT outside of the home since I had kids (11 years!). I hate it! I miss my kids, my couch and my jammies!
