As parents, it is our responsibility to take care of our
kids and nurture them in the very best way that we can. This stretches to all
sorts of different areas of our lives, and theirs. We influence the
way that they interact with strangers and whether
they share their toys with other children. We turn them into the adults that
they will one day become.
*Sponsored* - How to Choose the Best Prams and Strollers for your Children

You will need to see the amount of storage space that you have available. Look at the many styles, designs and brands on the market to see which will be the best for your child and their needs.
How to Choose the Best Prams and Strollers for Your Children
Parents are faced with an alarming array of accessories for their new baby, among which prams or strollers are perhaps one of the most important must-have items. With many styles, designs and brands on the market, the choice can be confusing, least not because an expensive purchase that proves to be a mistake should be avoided. When selecting a pram or stroller, keeping your lifestyle, your budget and the needs of your child uppermost in your mind will help you to make an informed decision.
Lifestyle choices
Prams and strollers come in a variety of styles but not all will suit your lifestyle equally. If you expect to travel often with your baby in the car or on public transport, you may prefer to opt for a lighter, compact model that can be easily folded; having limited space in the trunk may also affect your choice because some will fold more compactly than others.
Where you plan to walk should also influence your decision, as some prams and strollers will cope less well with the undulating ground in rural areas compared to the sidewalk of a modern city. Three-wheeled models with inflatable tires are ideal for uneven surfaces and offer a smoother ride for your child, but for a quick dash to a nearby grocery store, you may be happy with a simpler pushchair at a lower price.
However, bear in mind that a cheaper stroller may have a less generous shopping basket (and hanging bags of groceries on the handles can be dangerous); a model with a large basket is especially suitable for shopping.
Also, think about the amount of storage space you have at home (you’ll get fed up of falling over the pram in confined space pretty quickly) and whether you have to access your property via steps or an elevator, as a lighter frame that can be folded flat will save time, energy and your back muscles!
Decide how much you can afford
Affordability is always an important factor but you’ll find a stroller in every price bracket. Planning to have another baby in future might incline you to invest more now, as you’ll enjoy long-term use; if you’re only looking for a basic model with limited features for occasional walks, a lower priced product may be suitable.
Try before you buy
You wouldn’t dream of purchasing a new car without a test drive and the same applies to a pram or stroller for your baby. Only by pushing it around the store will you be able to get a true feel for the different styles, which will help you to make an informed choice before making a long-term commitment.

GoodNites *TRU-FIT* products can be found at Walmart, HERE! Check out the GoodNite website to see what all they have to offer. To see the GoodNite's *TRU-FIT* website, click HERE!
I know that kids can sometimes lose part of their self-confidence due to bed-wetting issues even after becoming potty trained, but that's where these awesome products come in from GoodNites *TRU-FIT* underwear, as they're able to help your child stay comfortable and protected from wetting the bed, whether he or she is going to be at home in their own bed or at a friend's for a sleepover.
A GoodNites brand study actually shows that it's estimated 1 in 6 children who are between the ages of 4 - 12 in the United States suffer from what is known as nocturnal enuresis, which is just a complicated term for bed-wetting. Unlike what some people might think, bed-wetting is a pretty common condition that cannot be un-trained, and the child can't control it.
A poll was taken and 41% of parents of bed-wetters describe it as frusterating. 43% of parents incorrectly believe that bed-wetting can actually be "trained" out of a child, when in reality it cannot be. 51% seek a better overall bed-wetting product.
The GoodNites®brand is introducing a truly and completely new kind of bedtime protection for kids, which is known as GoodNites *TRU-FIT* Underwear which are machine washable that have disposable and absorbent inserts that will help keep pajamas as well as their sheets DRY all night long! Now, who wouldn't want to try this out to see for themselves why GoodNites products are the way to go for helping to stop bed-wetting issues? There were 87% of moms who tried this product and they said that *TRU-FIT* will make their kids more confident.
The GoodNites *TRU-FIT* products are now available in select national retailers to purchase for your child. These are available to buy for boys and girls, in sizes S/M and L/XL with different colors and patterns for each size. The insert that I mentioned earlier in this post is of course able to be removed after each night's use and should be discarded.

Our big snow of 2014 in Virginia
Feb 12, 2014
Yesterday while I was at work, it started to snow and by 1 hour it was coming down hard and fast. The daycare center closed and we called all of our children's parents and I was gone by 3:30ish.
I don't drive in snow, but I was at work with my dad's van so I did this time and I don't want to have to do that again. It was like a blizzard, but that was only the beginning of this massive snowstorm we are getting here in Virginia where we do not see very much snow at all.
Enjoy some beautiful snow pictures and some snow fun with my kiddos today!

Foods that kids may love
Feb 2, 2014
My kids have never been very picky eaters, so I don't have a very tough time at all getting them to eat just about anything for meals, snacks, etc. They LOVE fruits, vegetables, crackers, and salads.
My son started school in the fall in kindergarten and if he chooses to pack his lunch instead of eating school lunches, I usually pack gogurt, string cheese, applesauce, juice, sandwhich, and a little baggy of crackers or chips.
Meal food ideas:
Salad with meat
Rice and gravy
Chicken with mashed potatoes and a vegetable
Pasta with meat and sauce
Macaroni and cheese and hot dogs mixed in it
PB & Jelly sandwhich
Egg salad
Pork chops with mashed potatoes
Snacks:
Apples
Applesauce
Grapes
Strawberries
Blueberries
Jello
Bananas
Chips
Juice box
Baby carrots
Yogurt
String cheese
