Making Gifts for Teachers That Will Last with Cricut

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

Are you looking for a nice gift to give your child's teacher?

In this post, you'll see how we made the vinyl designed mug for our son's teacher for Christmas using the Cricut machine.

Using the Cricut Design Space:
1. Find the image you want, save it, and insert into new project
2. Edit to resize, add text (weld text together so it's close together to fit better)
3. Save project

4. Click make it. Each mat on the left screen shows the size and color of each piece being cut. By editing and moving each piece, you can have the Cricut, cut them all from the mat. Add your pieces of vinyl to the appropriate position on the mat. Load mat. Once it's loaded, you're ready to go.

Click start; between cuts you will have to unload and reload mat, once all of it is cut, remove from mat. Using transfer tape, layer each piece in the right order and place.

Once all the pieces have been loaded and put in place, prepare your mug by wiping it with rubbing alcohol swabs. Carefully begin to apply the completed design to the clean mat. Smooth gently but firmly. With a little attention to detail and careful placement, your design should be all set and in place!
