It's an awesome camera and will alert my husband through his tablet if someone rings the bell or is close by to it, and he's able to watch what's going on through his tablet, as well as is able to talk to whoever might be outside by it, through a microphone.
We also received another type of security camera which is known by Vivitar as the Wide Angle View Security Wi-Fi Cam and can be bought on Amazon. We like this one a lot as well because it has night vision in it, which is great for when you may not be awake or outside to check on things, and want to know what is going on where you have it set up.
