Baby Safety Month with Chicco's MyFit 5 Point Harness+Booster Seat

*Disclaimer - I received the product in this post for Baby Safety Month to review, from Chicco

Are you looking for the perfect car seat for your toddler?

As you may already know it's safest for you to keep your child in a rear-facing position until at least two years old, as per the law in many states now. This seat is made for once your child is forward facing, and is called the Chicco MyFit 5 Point Harness + Booster

Our toddler son is 3 1/2 and has been forward facing since about 2 1/2 years old or so. Chicco is a well-trusted brand for babies and has many great products to choose from, including strollers, car seats, and more.

I found this great alternative for a car seat that will work perfectly for him while he's in a five-point harness and will go until he's out of the booster mode as well. For the harness mode, it's made for kids from 25 - 65 lbs, and the booster mode is made for kids from 40 - 100 lbs.

Here are some features for the harness mode that I'd like to highlight:
- Padded, no rethread harness system
- One-pull harness tighter
- Traditional 5-point harness for growing toddlers

Here are some features for the booster mode that I'd like to highlight:
- MyFit converts to a belt-positioning booster for older kids
- Shoulder and lap belt guides
- 9 position extended headrest

Of course, he won't be using the booster mode for quite a while yet but this seat is made to use as a five-point harness and when your child is ready you can remove the straps and use the high-back booster mode.

I highly recommend this seat for your toddler once you decide to forward face him or her. It's a really good option and is money saving too. You can get this seat for just $199 on the Chicco website! See the reclining options below to see the 4 stages for it if you want to use it, as well as it shows you how to use the harness mode and the booster mode too.
