For a day of fun when the sun is out and it's too hot to stay cool in the summer then you'll want to make sure to plan a trip to the Kinzua Wolf Run Marina. This is like a beach area but is more like a lake really. There is a place where they allow jet skis and boats, etc to be in.
It has pebbles in place of sand that you'd normally find at a beach like marina to swim. Our kids loved it there. It was our first time going and I hope that it won't be our last because they had a blast playing and swimming.
This beach area is open until 10pm every day. It says that it's closed between 10pm - 6am daily. There is more to do in Kinzua as well because they have the Kinzua Bridge which was originally destroyed by a tornado and they built a wooden walkway to look over and it has a glass square at the end of the walkway which is pretty cool to see as well.
