Scout Day at Splash Lagoon in Erie, PA

Are you looking for something fun to do if you're in the Erie, PA area?

Our oldest son is 10 and is in cub scouts (he'll be going into Weeblos 2 this upcoming school year) and to end the scouting year, they planned a trip to Splash Lagoon in Erie, PA which is about 2 1/2 hours or so from us! And the neat thing is the weekend we went (we went on May 6) was Scout Days there.

As you already know, we have four kids who are 10, 9, almost 3, and 1! Well, my husband and I shared watching our younger two while our older two played with friends on the non-toddler water rides and pool area, other than having lunch with us. The slide in the picture below was one that our toddler son enjoyed a good bit!

I didn't get anywhere near as many pictures as I wanted to because of holding our youngest and going on the slide with her for the majority of the day which was fun and she LOVED it! There is only one slide in the toddler area that allows the parent to go on and hold your child vs being at the bottom of the slide, so we had to stay on that one a lot.

There was a lazy river that I did go on with our 9 year old when I took a break and it was fun and she enjoyed me going with her too.

This indoor waterpark is a lot of fun and there is one specified spot where we had to leave our stuff with bags and such. Well, on the other side of that room there is an area where you can get food and drinks at called Hooch & Blotto's, and they have a really good strawberry daquari that they make, and it was only a little over $8 with a tip.

Shortly after going on the lazy river and going on the water slide with our youngest a few more times, our daughters and I got dressed and waited for my husband and toddler son to get dressed so we could head over to Dippin' Dots to get some ice cream. Our oldest was playing in the arcade with friends.

We got two regular size of Cotton Candy and a small size of Cookies n' Cream. I love it there!

    1. It was a lot of fun. When we went, we went as a big scout group so I am sure when the leaders booked tickets they provided school name of where the scouts are from. I am not sure. We are not in scouts anymore.
