Baby Event 2015: Medela Breastfeeding Products

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from the popular company Medela in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Medela has some awesome breastfeeding products, so it was hard to decide on which ones I'd need most.

I am due in June with my third child and my Medicaid is fully covering a Medela Pump In Style (double electric) Starter Kit for me shortly following delivery. I wanted to see about being able to review some other breastfeeding products that would be good to have while pumping / nursing. I've always heard that Medela is the best brand for breastfeeding products!

I am going to be pumping during the day as well as nursing him, to have milk to freeze to use for bottles at night so that my husband can help rotate feedings as he chooses to. I had previously bought some of the bottles for freezing, so these will definitely get used quite a bit.

The breastmilk feeding gift set can be found HERE and includes: three 5 oz bottles, nipples, collars, and caps, 20 pump and save bags, and six 2.7 oz mini bottles with lids.

The disposable nursing pads can be found HERE and I received 2 boxes of these, which include 30 count in each box.

The pump and save bags can be found HERE and I received 3 boxes of these, which include 20 count in each box.

Here's the products that I received:
- Breastmilk feeding gift set - bottles with lids (2 types) and nipples, and milk bags
- Disposable nursing pads - 2 boxes with 30 count
- Pump and save breastmilk bags - 3 boxes of 20 count

  2. Congrats on your upcoming new baby. I love Medela products and used several with my three children. The reusable Medela nursing pads were my favorites. I also had the feeding gift set, like you featured, and got a lot of use out of it over the years.

  11. Nursing pads seem like such a simple thing, but they are so important. I'm happy to hear Medela has them. They'll be great to tuck into a new mom's gift basket.

  16. I love Medela products! I used their breast pumps with my 3 girls -- first the electric one that looked like a little suitcase, then the manual pump that was super efficient and didn't make any noise...

  18. I love Medela! When my now-14-month-old was born, I had to pump for the first few weeks after his NICU stay while he learned to nurse, and the pump I rented was Medela. I love their breastfeeding accessories, too!
