I am very excited to talk to you about the show on NBC, Timeless, starring Abigail Spencer who plays Lucy. In real life, Abigail is a mother to an 8 year old boy who is her whole life!
She was an absolute delight to interview in our phone conference call. She is a down to earth and fun actress to talk with.
I was able to ask Abigail Spencer two questions about the show she stars in, Timeless. She is a fun and down to earth person to be able to talk to, and she's big on being a mom!
How do you like working on a show that has time travel to see different times?
Abigail: "I love it from a fashion perspective. How are we going to do my make up / hair. Exciting to do a new movie every single week. She use to play college girl. She fulfills her childhood dream by going into different times. She absolutely loves it".
Is this your favorite show to star in so far?
Abigail: "I have been very lucky, and have been on Rectify, and a few other shows. I have enjoyed being in all the shows I've been in as well as Mad Men, but Timeless is a fun and interesting show to be part of. The possibilities are endless with my character in Timeless".
Here's a sneak peek for Monday's episode of Timeless:
“The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln” airs Monday, October 10 at 10/9c on NBC.
The team can save the life of one of history's greatest men.
Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) chase terrorist Garcia Flynn (Goran Višnjić) to the night of Lincoln’s assassination, where they’re horrified to learn that Flynn’s linked up with history’s most notorious assassin, John Wilkes Booth (guest star Kelly Blatz).
Putting aside a tragedy of her own, Lucy speculates that Flynn intends to send the fragile nation into chaos by making a bad thing worse, and a debate rages among the team: should they alter history if it means changing it for the better? Also starring Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit.
Guest starring Neal Bledsoe, Michael Krebs, Terry Lewis and Lucia Frangione.
Abigail’s character is that of the heroine, Lucy.
There may be a potential relationship between Lucy and Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter’s character). When she goes back in time, Lucy’s future is altered that impacts her mother and sister with a ICYMI moment at the end of the episode.
