Download the New Kids App Me Today

There's a new app called Me: A Kid’s Diary by Tinybop. It’s an interactive journal for kids ages 6-8, and the app’s founder and CEO is a Latino of Mexican descent named Raul Gutierrez. Raul created Me in an effort to give kids an accessible outlet to express themselves through photos, drawings, audio recordings, and, of course, words. Considering how much our little ones have gone through this year, Me can be a great resource for any kid ages 6-8.

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your little one entertained at home this holiday season? Here’s a tip that’s super accessible, and right at your fingertips via the Apple App Store. Me: A Kid’s Diary by Tinybop is an interactive journal where kids can express themselves through photos, drawings, audio recordings, and, of course, words. Geared toward ages 6–8, the app guides children, step by step, on how to keep a diary, asking them to create their own avatars, draw cartoons, and answer quick questions about what they want to be when they grow up.

Using photos and colorful graphics, Me expands the idea of what a journal can be. As kids progress, they’ll be asked to dive deeper and reflect on their feelings, their likes and dislikes, and their thoughts on their world. The idea is to encourage kids to keep a diary and develop a sense of self-awareness, empathy, and compassion while doing it. Tinybop, which has several education apps on the App Store, designed Me as a safe space for children to learn more about themselves and the people around them. It’s a new kind of diary for a new age.

Today, Me: A Kid’s Diary by Tinybop is being spotlighted as the App of the Day. The team at Apple is inspired by the vibrancy and diversity of its global developer community, and via their App Store platform, they feel the responsibility to showcase apps and resources made by and for people of diverse backgrounds as often as possible. Me: A Kid’s Diary by Tinybop, and the other Tinybop apps were brought to life by Founder and CEO, Raul Gutierrez. Gutierrez is an entrepreneur with a 20-year history in technology and the arts.

Tinybop was born out of a belief that all kids are explorers. His hope is to build a company where ideas, design, and engineering come together to delight, inspire, and educate children. Raul was born in Monterrey, Mexico, grew up in Lufkin,Texas, and now lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two young boys. Be sure to download Me today!
