Cooking Meatloaf in the Cuisinart 6.5 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker

*Thank you to Cuisinart for providing the product in this post.

Are you looking for a programmable slow cooker that'll work to make food?

I was trying to figure out what exactly I wanted to make in my new Cuisinart 6.5 Quart programmable slow cooker  and it came to me - MEATLOAF! I was not sure on what timing to do it for, because my husband was always the one who made meatloaf and never in a slow cooker before.

I ended up having to cook it for over 7 hours, due to the fact that I used the lift part inside of the slow cooker, so I know now not to use that for making one. That's okay though - now I know how exactly to use this awesome programmable slow cooker, and I love it.

Here's the process of what all I used and mixed into the meatloaf before sitting it inside the slow cooker.

You will need:
A medium sized bowl for mixing
2 - 3 lbs of hamburger
2 eggs
Salt
Pepper
Chopped onion
2 cups oatmeal
Ketchup

Here's the meatloaf after everything was mixed into it and on top of it:

Here's the finished product - meatloaf and it was actually pretty good! I plan to just mainly use this slow cooker for making our chili we love to make, but enjoyed making this meatloaf to share with you.
