Do you remember 9/11/01 and where you were at when it took place?
I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. September 11, 2001 I was just getting into class and was in my desk in US History class I think it was when the principal told the whole staff to turn their televisions onto the news immediately. We watched as the planes drove into the Twin Towers, in New York City. Such a tragic event that is now forever going to be part of history and will eventually be if it's not already, in our kids' history books.
So many innocent lives were lost and effected that day. I was fortunate to be able to go to the memorial in 2005, but it was not completed when we were there.
