Keeping Kids Safe with the diono radian rXT Carseat

*Disclaimer - I received the product in this post from diono in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Are you looking for a great carseat for your child?

Our youngest child is almost six months old and is probably almost 20 lbs and is 24 - 25 inches long. She has been in an infant seat since birth, but she was 1. getting too heavy in it for me to carry and 2. getting long for the seat, so I was thrilled when diono surprised me with a second diono radian rXT seat!

You can purchase the diono radian rXT seat, HERE for your little one!

Our vehicle died, so we had to use our back up truck and my husband had to order a brand new motor, get it put in, and re-put back together so it took about 3 1/2 weeks before I could actually test out this carseat, so I was very excited yesterday when I put the seat in the truck with our oldest son's help, for our daughter so I could get my post done and get her in a new seat! She fits perfectly in the seat too, and she seems to like it so far. She looked around at first like, "where is my other one?" lol, but did great!

It fits PERFECTLY beside her brother's radian rXT seat he has, in red. With these brand of carseats, the awesome thing is that you can sit THREE of these across with no issue for most mid sized vehicles.

We lowered the head rest and the shoulder straps for her carseat in case you're wondering. We had to get it adjusted just right to her fit. And with this seat, she has plenty of growing room to spare, as well as our two year old in his radian rXT too.

He will probably be forward facing by his 3rd birthday, which is in May or maybe before. The state law for PA is mandatory until age 2, but I'd like to get him to stay rear facing until around age 3. Same goes for our youngest - she will likely rear face until age 2 1/2 - 3 years old too. Of course, the longer you keep your child rear facing the safer it is.

Our two year old son has been in his radian rXT for about two months, maybe a little longer now and he seems to love it and I love it too, because not only is the seat very tightly secure and won't budge, but the straps are very comfortable, and easy to adjust.

This carseat is made for:
- Rear facing from 5 - 45 lbs
- Accomodates forward facing from 20 - 80 lbs in a 5-point harness
- Converts to a booster seat mode for kids 50 - 120 lbs
- Made from steel for safety you can feel
- Has a 10 year life from the date of purchase
