Are you looking for a good brand of bottle for breastfed babies?
I'm a mother of three and about to have our new little one who will be breastfed and I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy using the Philips Avent Natural bottles for our little ones as a baby.
These bottles are great and while they do come in several sizes ounce wise, I received the 9 ounce bottles which I like, because our little one will use them as she gets a little older after 5 or 6 months old.
As you know, 9 oz bottles are great for that age and can actually be used until put on a sippy cup. I just love these bottles, as they're very convenient as well as easy to take in the diaper bag for on the go use.
Our youngest was breastfed for 14 months and I used the Philips Avent Natural bottles with him as needed for pumped milk when my husband wanted to feed him at night or our kids wanted to help. These bottles are great for breastfed and non-breastfed babies to use.
They're made specifically for breastfed babies to have the same comfort as they get from mom, but in bottle form in case mom works or needs to be away from baby. Formula fed babies can easily use these bottles too, not a problem at all! When I worked in a daycare, many babies used this bottle and it worked wonderful for them as well.
Sometimes, it's tough to get a breastfed baby use to bottles, no matter who is feeding him or her and many moms and dads go through 5 - 10 different types of bottles. Why not just get this one and see how he or she does?
These are great bottles for all babies and are easy to measure the milk, juice, or formula into. These bottles are fine to warm in a bottle warmer too, unlike some bottles that just cannot withhold the heat from it; just be sure to keep a close eye on it and check within 30 seconds to see how well heated the breastmilk is if you needed to warm it due to being in fridge or freezer.

I bottle fed my boys and always used Avent bottles. I was always very happy with them.

ReplyDeleteI appreciate that these are anti-colic because I know of several infants that have had issues with their current bottles.

Philips Avent bottles were my go to favorite for my kids too! I'm a brand new grandmother now and have encouraged my son and DIL to consider Avent for my sweet granddaughter too!

ReplyDeleteI was never able to breastfeed any of my children. We tried so many things and just was never able to accomplish this. We did use this brand of bottles though and loved them!
ReplyDeleteThis is the brand my grandson uses. It made transitioning from breast feeding to bottle feeding really easy. He never had issues with colic! Amazing this Avent bottles. Highly recommended for babies!
