Do you have two children and need a good, sturdy, and safe stroller?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant with our fourth child and the last big item we needed for her was a good double stroller. I had been looking everywhere and couldn't find what I was looking for, because it seems to be hard to find double strollers that have a bar across the front, anymore.

You can buy the Joovy Scooter X2 stroller, HERE!!!

Well, Joovy came to my rescue for our need of a good stroller! You will never buy another stroller after owning the truly AMAZING Scooter X2 stroller. I had thought I might still need to get a double jogging stroller, but after giving the Scooter X2 a walk twice now I have decided that no I don't need anything else!

I was so excited when it came in the mail and had to wait for my husband to get home to help me put it together and assemble it correctly. It only took us about 20 minutes or so to get it put together.

The great things about the Scooter X2 stroller are that it:
- It has a 30" width that will fit through most doorways
- Has large sealed bearing wheels
- Side by side seating, not front to back seating
- Has a huge canopy over the childrens' head which is good to keep sun / rain out
- It has zippered pockets which helps keep important things dry from weather while out
- Extra large storage underneath the stroller
- Easy, one hand fold

The one thing I really like about this Scooter X2 is:
- The pouches directly behind the childrens' head part of the stroller. These can hold a water bottle for moms, a phone, or something else that is a semi-small size item as you can see in the picture below

The other really awesome thing I enjoy about the Scooter X2 is the BIG storage underneath. And by big, I mean big. I've truly never seen a stroller with such large storage space underneath it, which is great because I put my camera case, a snack for our son, and a sippy cup in there. I could have easily fit his diaper bag and a few other items in it probably. It says it can hold up to 5 lbs per side of the stroller for storage.

I just love the way the seats are made and how comfortable the straps are to get him in, unlike some strollers where the straps are only made one way; these are adjustable. We will be using it for our new little one after she's here but once the weather stays nice outside; probably in April or May on a regular basis for walks, with them both.

The Scooter X2 is easy enough to collapse to take down to store in your vehicle or just in a part of your home when you're not using it by the handle bar part of the stroller shown below.

We live in Pennsylvania and the winters here are cold and snowy or slushy, so it takes forever to be able to actually get NICE weather to be able to go for a walk once winter weather begins. Well, finally after what seemed like forever we got a few nice days.

The weather was beautiful and still is right now, so I took our youngest to the park for a walk. He loves the new stroller and likes to hold onto the handle bar in front of him. He's about 27 lbs now, and this stroller will hold a weight of 45 lbs per seat. Thankfully, he'll be able to probably sit in the stroller for a year or so more I would guess.

  1. I don't have kids but I'm a proud new aunt! :) My brother will be floored by this. With a new baby and a toddler, he's all over products like this. Will definitely be sending your link over.

  2. This would have been perfect when my twins were still in a stroller! We used the Joovy Nooks and loved them - wish they had this stroller then!

  4. Now this is one baby gear that I will make me want to go out and buy immediately. I have twin granddaughters and this would really be nice to have to take both of them out for a walk. Spring is coming soon and it means lots of outdoor activities and strolls in the park.

  6. I've never had a Joovy, I don't think they were out when my oldest was born. My two youngest brothers were 13 months apart and my Mom loved using a twin stroller while they were young.

  7. Double strollers are SO nice! When I had my seventh, you would have thought we had everything we needed, but by then, stuff had started to wear out! The double stroller was the biggest necessity on the list!
