Must See Cities in Italy

In 2004, I had the opportunity to go to Italy for 10 days with a big group of people from the high school I went to. We went with EF Tours and the plane ride was about 9 hours total to Italy and back.

It was an awesome trip and fun memories were made. The hotel we stayed at was pretty interesting as the sink was more like a tub of some sorts. The milk for cereal at breakfast while there was warm. That was definitely weird to say the least but different culture.

As you can imagine, Italy is a very different, but fun and beautiful country to be able to visit in a lifetime! I had the time of my life being able to experience spring break of 2004 in 10 cities of Italy with a big group of people that went to my school. My favorite city that we got to go to has to be Rome.

Of course, I had to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain! We also got to see the Roman Colesium while we were exploring and touring in Rome. It was being worked on, so as you can be it was under construction in the picture. It was really neat to see in person though.

I also went to Verona which is a popular city where it's known that Romeo and Juliet were and took place there. The interesting thing about the walls on the picture below is that people would stick their gum and notes all over it. It was weird, but kind of neat to see.

We also went to Venice by hiring Venice walking tours which was a really awesome city too. Venice was nice as it was really pretty and they let us go on a Gondola ride, which is a boat like a canoe that holds several people.

  9. Gorgeous photos! You must have had a fantastic time.

Italy is definitely on my bucket list! A friend of mine was able to visit the Coliseum while he was in the military. He said it seemed smaller than he expected? Also, is it true that the entire city of Venice is underwater?
