Difrax USA: S Bottles and Pacifiers

*Disclaimer - I received the products in this post from Difrax in order to facilitate this review for my readers.

Do you have a nursing baby who also likes a bottle sometimes? Difrax makes bottles just for that reason!

I recently found out I am expecting our 3rd baby and I want to nurse this time around, but also let my husband and kids sometimes help feed him or her, so I thought what better way to do that than to find a breastfeeding friendly bottle just for nursing babies? And that I did! I found them through Difrax, which is a baby products company that offers some great products, and one of them is the S-Bottle which I have never heard of before, but am excited to be able to try out in May or June 2015 with our little one.

They provided me with 4 packs of green and yellow small classic and small orthodontic pacifiers, and from the feel of them, they seem like very good pacifiers for little ones mouths to be able to hold.

These first bottles that they provided me with are a larger size bottle with the S curve to it which helps nursing babies be able to adjust to a bottle that is specially shaped for them to use. This first bottle you see below is an 8.45 oz bottle, and comes with the ring, nipple, and lid. I received two of these sized bottles and will get use from it for sure as baby gets older. The price of this size S-bottle is $18.99 for a pack of two like I received.

This second S shaped bottle is a smaller version and holds 5.75 oz for your baby, which of course is perfect for the first few months as we know babies don't need more than that. The price of these S- bottles for a pack of two is $17.99, which is well worth the price for the size.

Difrax's 5-Stage Pacifier System that Grows With Baby, Stimulates The Development of the Jaw and Mouth Muscles, and Allows for Extra AIr Circulation

This is the trendy, fun, and innovative pacifier system from the Netherlands designed for every stage of your baby/child's development.  One size does not fit all.  The classic style offers a round nipple that most resembles the breast, so it feels more like mommy while the orthodontic style stimulates the development of the palate and the muscles of the jaw and mouth.  Each collection comes in newborn (0-2 months), 0-6 month, 6+ month, 12+ months, and 18+ month styles that are specifically designed with different features and benefits unique to the needs of that baby's age. The 12+ month is the first pacifier to encourage tots to break the paci habit, and the 18+ month pacifier is even designed to wean baby off.  In addition, the unique butterfly shape, the result of years of research and development, allows for extra air circulation, reducing the risk of skin irritation and keeping the nose free. You'll love all the fun colors and patterns available too! http://www.difraxusa.com/
Below is more information on the just-released Newborn and Semi-Solid Pacifiers:
Newborn
Difrax has a "newborn pacifier for premature babies from thirty weeks and for newborn babies (0-2 months). The shield of the newborn pacifier is smaller and the mouth piece is shorter than the mini pacifier (0-6 months). This means that the nipple doesn't lie so far back on the tongue and newborn babies are more likely to accept the pacifier. These newborn pacifiers are not only suitable for premature babies, but also for full-term newborn babies. Once your baby is about two months old, you can switch to the mini pacifier (0-6 months) because the have a larger shield and longer nipple.
Semi-Solid
The semi-solid pacifier (12-18 months) is the first pacifier to encourage children to break the pacifier habit. The pacifier has a large shield and a semi-solid, thicker nipple that makes the way of sucking different. At 18 months, switch to an extra strong pacifier that has a completely solid nipple. This makes it less easy for children to damage the pacifier by biting.

Difrax's Smart S•Bottle Reduces Colic/Upset Tummy and Even Ensures A Healthier Feeding Position for the Parent

Although breastfeeding is best for your baby, it is your choice and bottle-feeding is a good alternative. This smart bottle can be used from birth and is ideal for combining breastfeeding and bottle-feeding. The unique S∙shape means that the bottle nipple is always full of milk and without air. Thanks to the valve in the base, your baby swallows less air and so has less trouble with burping, vomiting, colic and earache. The valve prevents a vacuum being created when baby sucks and ensures a constant flow of milk. Your baby can therefore feed undisturbed and then sleeps longer and more peacefully afterwards. As well as all these benefits for your baby, this bottle is also better for you. The S∙shaped design allows the feeding adult to sit in a relaxed, ergonomically sound position. There is less strain on the back and shoulders. Always hold the S∙bottle with the short side at the top when feeding your baby.  http://www.difraxusa.com.

  1. That's actually a pretty nice bottle. I used a different brand when I had my toddler that we just absolutely loved. I hope your baby loves these when he/she gets here.

  3. My kids were both exclusively breastfed but I worked outside the home at times so Having a bottle that they'd take was beneficial.

  4. Those bottles are interesting. Can't say I spend a lot of time in the baby isles so I have no idea about the sizes and shapes of bottles these days. Looks like it would be a lot easier to hold on to for baby and mom.
