The other night, we went to the open house at our kids' school and they kept asking if they could sign up for girl scouts and cub scouts and hope to have some of their friends in it as well.
We had talked about it prior to that due to the papers we got in their school folders with information if parents were interested, so of course we said yes. Her fee was $15 to register and his was $30.
His first meeting will be on Monday for an hour or so, and I think they as well as girl scouts meet once every 2 weeks for an hour or so, and throughout the year they plan fun things to do as a group, and parents can be involved in it too! With them being young yet, we know that they won't be doing a lot, but I know they will have a blast either way! I never did Girl Scouts as a kid, so this is all new to me. My grandfather was VERY active in the Boy Scouts of America, so I will probably end up asking him questions as needed.
