First Look at Mary Poppins Returns Teaser Trailer and Posters

You guys have to read this post - this is THE moment I have been waiting for, for a VERY long time to happen. My childhood favorite movie Mary Poppins is coming back for a sequel - Mary Poppins Returns. It's amazing how I'm able to help promote this movie I grew up with.

I'm 31 years old, so I grew up with Mary Poppins as a child. It was seriously my favorite Disney movie growing up. And our older kids love the movie too, now at 9 and 10 and the memories that unfold from that is amazing. The imagination that Mary Poppins offers to children is one that you'll never forget!

But, now knowing that this amazing movie that came out when I was a child is making a sequel is just the best news I could explain! Let me share with you some information about Mary Poppins Returns that the Disney press release had in it for me to share with you!

In the sequel, which arrives in theatres this Christmas, Mary Poppins is back to help the next generation of the Banks family find the joy and wonder missing in their lives.

Mary Poppins Returns stars Emily Blunt as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure; Lin-Manuel Miranda as her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light—and life—to the streets of London; Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks; and Julie Walters as the Banks’ housekeeper Ellen; with Colin Firth as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank’s William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep as Mary’s eccentric cousin, Topsy.

The film also introduces three new Banks’ children played by Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and newcomer Joel Dawson. Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth’s character.

Now that you have the back story about Mary Poppins Returns, ENJOY the teaser trailer!!!
