We have a two year old, so I know how it is to want to find things for toddlers to do!
Here are some free activities to do with toddlers:
1. Go to the park - We live right by the park so it's only about a two minute or so walk to get there.
2. Library - You can head to your local library to get books to read as well as a reading time where other kids are.
3. Go swimming - You can go to your local pool. Ours is free but due to not having but one vehicle now, we don't go unless my husband goes too.
We do a park tour with my sister. There are two playgrounds in my town and one in hers so we take turns between them so the kids get new adventures each time
ReplyDeleteGreat simple ideas! Our local library has so many activities year round for children and I think it's so under-utilized.
ReplyDeleteWe live close to a McDonald's and that was the favorite thing to do. Take a walk on a nice day and have an ice cream cone!
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy going to the park and the library. Unfortunately, we didnt get in much swimming this summer.
ReplyDeleteWe love to go enjoy the outdoors! Here is Norway the kids have outdoor suits so they don't get dirty so much on their clothes etc... So we go enjoy the outdoors in the woods and just exploring!
ReplyDeleteI never had any idea how much one can get out of a library until my son was a toddler. There are so many programs. We are at the library now still at least a few times a week.
ReplyDeleteWe have a pool and that was something our kids love doing no matter what age they were. They enjoyed going to the library with my husband every week too way back when.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter LOVES being outside! The park is also one of her favorite places to go to and yes all free! lol
