How our Kids Adjusted to a New Baby in the House

I was asked to write about how our older children adjusted to having a new baby in the house.

Our kids were very excited when they learned that they were going to have a baby sibling. In May, he was born and they have done great since he's been born. They are good helpers and throw away diapers if I need them to. They love to play with him on the bed or floor on a blanket.

They have done very well with adjusting to a new sibling. Now that he's able to do more and almost sit up, they love to play with him and make him smile. There's not much to write on about the topic, because they have adjusted well and love being a big brother and sister.

  2. It gets easier when the baby gets older and can play and react to what they're doing a bit more. I'm glad it's gone so well.

  4. Glad to hear it. When my oldest son became a big brother, his job was my "diaper getter". He was in charge of getting me diapers, so that way he felt included.
