BIG NEWS! I'm Pregnant with Baby #3!

I was beginning to think that I might be pregnant because I was almost a week late and my chest was sore, but I was in denial and decided to order 6 home pregnancy strip tests and see if these work, unlike the ones with my two pregnancies that did not. 

Below, are all 6 of my home tests I took:


I took one and it immediately showed 2 lines, so I was like wow, and showed my husband, and he was half asleep. I think we're now both pretty happy and looking forward to this new baby. I just found out through taking my home tests on October 1. I wanted to announce it on my blog since YOU are my readers! So, I'm quite sure I will be doing a lot more reviewing baby items in the next 8 months for sure, I'm just not too sure on what exactly quite yet.

I have my first OB appointment on October 23, for my first ultrasound and blood work. I'll be about 8 weeks or so then. She told me over the phone that according to her calculator, I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant right now and to continue to take prenatal vitamins and start eating healthier. I will be going on Oct 14 to get a blood test to confirm.

    Congratulations! That is so exciting. When I was pregnant, I tried several tests too just to make sure (in part, because we had so much trouble getting there that I could hardly believe it!)

    Thanks everyone! It was definitely a surprise. I am more happy now that time to going on, and am 6 weeks and 2 days. I go to my first OB appt on Oct 23 which will include an ultrasound to exactly date pregnancy and due date! :)
