My review of the dual core iDeaPLAY tablet I received:
I was ecstatic when I was told that I could work with this company for a review of one of their new tablets for kids. My kids broke their previous tablets and the charger wouldn't work, and found that I could work with iDeaPlay on a review. I am very thrilled with their customer service and would highly recommend them as to where to buy a good kids size tablet for Android apps. This dual core tablet for kids gets a definite 5 star rating from me as a mother of 2 kids, ages 5 and 6.

About the tablet we received:
It comes with a padded outside already on it. How cool is that? It's orange and my kids love it already, and we just got it in the mail today. I love this tablet already too, even though I don't know much about how to work them. It's very kid friendly of course as it's a kids tablet. You will need to set it up before anyone can use it and make a password, and install the apps for Amazon or iDeaPlay so that your child is able to play the games on it. There are some that cost money, so of course I steer clear of those unless I just really want to buy it and there are the free ones that came with the tablet, and those are the ones that my kids have been playing with. The tablet has a cool paint like app where kids can color using virtual colored pencils and save them to the tablet to keep or edit for later. They have had a lot of fun with that app so far in the short time we've had it. This tablet also has a clock, which can either show military time as it does in the photo below or normal time. It has a touch screen which is a given in a tablet of any kind, and you need to slide your finger across the screen to be able to get to any of the particular apps you would like your child to play. A popular app that this particular tablet has available for free is called Famigo, and it's fun!

The size and price of the tablet:
The size of this dual core tablet is 7" and the price can range anywhere from $129.99 at most major retailers you can buy this particular tablet at. The size of the tablet is the best one you could get for small children hands to hold onto for any amount of time, so it's probably the best route for ages 4 - 8 or so. As you can see, the tablet is a good size for all. The last photo is of the tablet's small camera that it has built into the top of it, which I like.

Operating system:
Android 4.2

  1. I saw these at Christmas and thought about buying it for my son. But he's 9 so I thought he may be a little too old. What do you think?

  2. I have not been able to figure out a lot yet with the tablet, but if you can download more apps from Amazon or wherever, it'd probably be a great one to get for him.

  4. Although I do not have children, this looks like a really fun and neat tablet! I like that it comes with the padded outside "case" for the tablet, so if it does get dropped, it would be protected. Very neat!

  5. I have been looking for the perfect tablet for my kids & this looks great. I'll definitely have to have my hubs check this out since he's more technology inclined than I am. Thanks for the review!
