Making Puppy Treats in Celebration of Clifford The Big Red Dog Movie

*Disclaimer - I was sent a gift card to purchase supplies needed for this activity.

Are you looking for a good frozen puppy treat recipe that dogs will love?

When it comes to great puppy treats, Google is your friend! You can find so many good ones out there and with it being fall, I figured that the one I found would be a great one for my neighbor's dogs to enjoy as they are always enjoying treats.

She has golden retrievers and I figured they'd love these puppy treats I made for them for this blog post activity! They are pumpkin flavor and SUPER easy to make!

All about Clifford The Big Red Dog Movie:

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little red puppy she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

For this recipe, it's very simple to take and dogs will love them!

- 1 cup plain yogurt

- 1 cup pumpkin puree

Directions

- Mix pumpkin and yogurt together in a bowl

- Divide the mixture evenly into an ice tray or molds

- Freeze for 24 hours

- Pop the treats out of the mold and put into a freezer bag for storage. You can also leave them in the ice tray if you have space in your freezer!

I made them in the above mini ice cube tray for them!

They loved them!
