Attending the MAMA / CATA Breakfast Feb. 8 at the Chicago Auto Show

*Disclaimer - My flights, lodging, meals, and show ticket were covered by Nissan and the auto show. All opinions are my own.

Wondering what I learned at the MAMA Breakfast?

As part of my schedule at the Chicago Auto Show, I was invited to attend the MAMA Breakfast between 7:30 - 8:45am with many others from the media, including other fellow bloggers. The food was great and I even got seconds!

When it comes to looking for automotive parts, tools and care you'll want to make sure you shop at East Coast Hardware for all your auto needs!

Everyone who attended this MAMA Breakfast received a Steel Matters notepad and a pen, to take notes in during the auto show and of course the breakfast, when we were listening to some speakers including Jill Ciminillo who kicked off the MAMA Breakfast for the Chicago Auto Show.

Here, you can see Jill Ciminillo speaking at the MAMA Breakfast:

At the Chicago Auto Show, there were 2500 media and influencers attending the 2018 Chicago Auto Show - that's A LOT of wonderful people who came for the media preview to see everything about the auto show this year, and let me tell you it was an awesome experience.

The 2018 MAMA Family Vehicle Award goes to:
Honda Odyssey

There are several great things to come for MAMA and they are:
- Spring Rally which will be held on May 23 - 24
- Fall Rally which will be held on Oct 3

On February 8, they had an unveiling of the 50th Anniversary vehicle which was the new Subaru. Subaru is a great family vehicle. We got to listen to Thomas J. Doll who is President of Subaru of America.

Automation:
- 230,000 jobs will be lost in the next years. We're not sure where these jobs will go.
- So many people shop online now, so you don't have to see a person.

Some things you should know about Subaru:
- Subaru loves to physically hand the new owner their keys.
- Subaru is a brand to trust.
- They keep their promises.
- They want everyone to have a great retail experience.
- They want customers to love their experience
