Well, I was right! This blanket is beyond gorgeous; a lot more so in person than seeing the listing online. This is a VERY soft blanket and is perfect for babies. Our one month old daughter lays on her blanket often throughout the day and sleeps sound; it's just so soft to the touch. It will definitely keep her warm, and both sides are very soft to the touch.
