My experience with my local Best Buy's Mobile specialty store:
The customer support guy was very helpful and easy to work with to see about the phone upgrade pricing. My phone which is a Verizon 4 G LTE phone is eligible for an upgrade as of 2012 apparently, but right now I want to keep mine. My dad's is the one we looked at and his isn't eligible for upgrade until 2015. I was very impressed with the customer service I received at my local store, and will go back when I decide to trade my phone in.
