If you are looking for some off-road adventuring in a comfortable vehicle, consider buying a Land Rover in Lexington, KY. After Jeep, Land Rovers are the oldest four-wheel-drive car brand in the world. Though the brand itself has not been around for 40 years, there are still a variety of models to choose from. Here is a little bit about the LR2 and LR4 models, as well as the Range Rover models.

Land Rover 2

When you are off-roading, probably the last thing you want to think about is switching gears. The Land Rover 2 Sports Utility Vehicle has a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. They have an anti-lock braking system, which prevents the wheels from locking up. This helps to avoid skidding. Additionally, the LR2 has several airbags. The comfort features include air conditioning, heated front row seats, heated steering wheel, and heated windshield and windshield washer jets. It gets up to 24 miles per gallon on the highway.

Land Rover 4

The Land Rover 4 is considerably more expensive than the LR2 model, with only 17 miles per gallon on the highway. The wheels are one inch larger than the LR2. It comes with the same braking system and airbags. It also has cruise control. In addition to the heated front seats, it also has the option of heated second row seats. This model has slightly more legroom, headroom, and shoulder room than the LR2. It has 87 cubic feet of cargo volume compared to 59 in the LR2. The entertainment features in this and the LR2 model vary, but can include Bluetooth capabilities and MP3 decoding.

Range Rover

There are several Range Rover models, including the basic design, the Evoque model, and the Sport model. The basic Range Rover comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the other two have a 6-speed. The braking and airbag systems are similar to the aforementioned models. These also have an integrated navigation system. The basic model gets up to 20 highway miles per gallon, compared to 28 in the Evoque and 18 in the Sport. If you are comparing the Range Rover models or the above models, visit a dealership that features the Land Rover Lexington, KY. Test drive and compare them all to get the features you want in a vehicle.
