Well, our kids and I walked to the park where they go to their kids summer program for a few hours during the day, where they play with about 10 other kids and do fun activities with adults supervising. I walked home, and called Kelalah and usually she runs right to me, but today she didn't. I had no idea why, so I went to my room to get on my laptop for awhile to get some blogging done, and saw her in the corner of my husband's clothing closet looking at me funny. I thought to myself, is she ok? what's wrong?
Well, I heard a noise that sounded like a mouse, so I was getting a bit nervous, because I hate mice LOL! Well, I walked closer and saw something black with a tail, so I moved my husband's ski pants to the dirty clothes hamper to find another one, but with stripes. I never thought that she was pregnant, so this was a huge shock!
They are cute as can be, but I hope she doesn't have anymore. She is an inside cat, so now that there is no male here I don't think we have reason to get her fixed. My cat Midnight is black and white and has been trying to get in my room, but I won't let her for a week or so as the kittens / mom are in a box with a towel beside my dresser.

OH MY GOSH! I love baby cats and dogs. I've never seen them born or so little. I'm sure your family will give them lots of lovin and attention. Congrats momma! ;)
ReplyDeleteAWW so precious!! I am a cat mom of 9 ..When we found Ms Smudge .She was pregnant ,But we didnt know at first .We though just a chubby little cat! She was so tiny ;( She had 4 beautiful babies of course we kept ..What a surprise for you !! How sweet!

Unfortunately, my husband doesn't like them too much--and I don't really like the idea of having my furniture scratched up, so having one is out of the question. I'll stick to loving on my sisters' cat. Congrats on your "new additions!" They're too precious!

ReplyDeleteKnow what's funny, our cat just had kittens 3 days ago too and she also had 2. One gray and one all black. Still trying to figure out who the dad is since she very rarely goes outside.
