A Letter to My Mom on Mother’s Day

by Chit Chat Mom on May 10, 2009

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and moms-in-waiting out there.  I thought I would take this opportunity to write a little letter to my mom on Mother’s Day.

Dear Mom,

I’ve never for a day questioned how much you love me.  I’ve never wondered if your life would have been better without me.  I’ve never thought that maybe you regret any of the sacrifices that you have made for me.  Because I’ve never questioned, wondered or thought these things I have spent all of the years of my life full of love, joy and happiness.  As I prepare to be a mom for the first time I can’t think of any greater gift to give my daughter.   Unfailing love.  Unending encouragement.  Unwavering strength. In case I don’t say it enough… I love you.  Thank you for being my mom and for teaching me what the love of a mother is.

Happy Mother’s Day.
